Overview

Seminoe State Park and surrounding area offers Wyoming wildlife and recreation at its finest. Patient visitors can be rewarded with a variety of creatures - big horn sheep, elk, mule deer, antelope, coyote, mountain lion, bobcat and more. Bird watchers may glimpse eagles or other birds of prey plus many types of waterfowl and migratory birds. Bring your binoculars, sit back and enjoy!

2023 Reservation Season Information

2023 Reservation Season: May 1 through September 30
Outside of the season, all campsites revert to first come, first served (aka walk-in).

Booking Opens:
Wyoming residents may begin booking campsites up to 120 days prior to arrival. Non-residents may begin booking up to 113 days prior to arrival.

Reservation Fees:
Residents = $4 Non-Residents = $8

Fee Payment:
Fees for day use and camping are charged per vehicle. A reservation pays for only one vehicle and any additional vehicles must pay on arrival at a booth or self-pay station.

Refund Policy:
Full refunds (minus the reservation fee) will be offered for cancellations made on or before the day of arrival. No refunds will be given for unused days/nights if a visitor leaves early. Annual permits are non-refundable (includes daily use, camping, ORV, and Snowmobile). Reservation fees are non-refundable.

Check-In/Check-Out:
Check-in is required upon arrival. Check-in is after 3:00 pm, check out is before 11:00 am. For late arrivals, contact the park at least 12 hours prior to arrival.

18 Day Holds:
In an effort to prevent users from circumventing the booking rules, an 18 day hold on date changes will apply to reservations made at the maximum booking date of 120/113 days. After the 18th day, date changes will be permitted as usual.

No-Show Reservations Cancelled:
If someone does not show up for their reservation by 11 am the day following arrival (no-show), their reservation is not automatically cancelled. Wyo Parks staff have to physically visit the site to confirm it is empty then go into the system to cancel the reservation. This requires staff time and delays the site becoming available for others! Please be courteous and cancel your reservation if you will not use it.

No-Show Penalties:
When a customer doesn't arrive at their site by 11 am the day following their scheduled arrival, they are considered a 'no-show'. No-shows are a no-no! If you aren't able to use your reservation, please cancel so another family has the opportunity to enjoy the site.

Repeat offenders are tracked in the system, and the following penalties may be applied:

1st and 2nd No-Show: Reservation cancelled (with no refund)

3rd No-Show: All reservations for the year cancelled (with no refunds)

4 or more: Suspension of reservation privileges

Other Important Information:

Sites must be occupied nightly.

There is a 14-day camping limit in any 30 day period at any state park. This is a “rolling” 30 day period so any two stays within 30 days of each other (at the same park) are not permitted.

Dogs must be on leashes when outside of vehicle or camping unit.
