Alerts and Important Information

April 3, 2023 - Creekside Cabins & the Group Dining Hall will be closed April 1 - June 30 for road construction & renovation projects.

February 27, 2023 - The North Woods Pavilion will be closed to the public from March 1 - May 31, 2023 for construction work.

February 20, 2023 - Loop D is closed to bicycles due to ice storm damage and downed utility poles. Hikers should use caution. Loops A-C & EZ are open for hiking and biking. Contact the park or check back for updates.

Prescribed burns are planned during this timeframe (December-April), depending on weather and other factors. Prescribed fire operations and associated smoke may impact your visit. Some camping areas, lodging facilities, trails, and day-use areas may be closed for public safety. Contact the park to learn how this may affect your stay.

Grills and deep fryers are prohibited in portions of the day-use area, including the designated swim area/bath house/parking lot, the park store area, and the area directly adjacent to the playground.

Diving or swimming directly around the fishing piers and boat ramp is prohibited. Divers must check-in and out at the park headquarters, during business hours.
