Alerts and Important Information

March 22, 2023 - The lake is too low to allow boat launches from the boat ramp. Kayaks and canoes can still be launched from the ramp.

March 27, 2023 - The Bald Eagle Campground Restroom at San Angelo SP are closed for plumbing repairs until further notice. There is an open restroom facility near the Bald Eagle front gate.

February 28, 2023 - Burn ban in effect until further notice. No ash-producing fires are allowed (including wood or charcoal). You may use containerized fuel stoves (i.e. propane) for cooking.

Prescribed burns are planned during the timeframe of December-April, depending on weather and other factors. Prescribed fire operations and associated smoke may impact your visit. Some camping areas, lodging facilities, trails, and day-use areas may be closed for public safety. Contact the park to learn how this may affect your stay.
