Alerts and Important Information

On June 3 and June 4 - The park will be closed south of the stables. The Visitor Center, scenic overlook, Trading Post, Glamping, and Old West Stables will remain open. The only trails open will be the Pioneer Nature Trail Loop and the CCC/Triassic Trails.

Prescribed burns are planned during this timeframe (December-April), depending on weather and other factors. Prescribed fire operations and associated smoke may impact your visit. Some camping areas, lodging facilities, trails, and day-use areas may be closed for public safety. Contact the park to learn how this may affect your stay.

September 30, 2022 - No ash-producing fires are allowed, including wood or charcoal. You may use containerized fuel stoves with a shut-off valve or on/off switch for cooking.
