Alerts and Important Information

March 10, 2023 - Eisenhower State Park is undergoing a road resurfacing project with TxDOT in the coming months. Various areas of the park will be closed in phases. The following areas will be closed for the month of April and May:

* Day Use Areas: Picnic Area, Swim Beach and Elm Point Restrooms
* OHV trail
* Trail from marker 9 to 13
* Elm Point and Fossil Ridge campgrounds

The following areas will be closed from May 30 - July 15:

* Deer Haven restrooms
* Shelters 1-34
* Cabin 35
* Rec Hall
The following areas will be closed from July 16 - August 25:

* Cedar Hollow Restroom
* Pavilion 1
* Amphitheater
* Boat Ramp
* Lighted Fishing Pier
* Bois D Arc Camping Loop (Sites 58-107)
* Bois D Arc Restroom
* Bois D Arc Dump Station

The following areas will be closed from August 26 - October 6:

* Armadillo Hill Camping Loop Sites 1-57
* Armadillo Hill Restroom
* Armadillo Hill Dump Station

January 18, 2023 - The Armadillo Hill Loop is undergoing an improvement project. The Dump Station and Restrooms in the loop are not available for use. The Dump Station at Bois D'arc Camping area is available during this time.

You may use the restrooms in the Bois D'arc Camping area or the Day Use restrooms in the park. Contact the park for updates.

March 10, 2023 - The Deer Haven Restrooms are closed for maintenance. Restrooms are available at the Cedar Hollow Camping Area and at Park Headquarters. Showers are available at the Bois D' Arc Camping Area. Contact the park for updates.

Prescribed burns are planned during this timeframe (December-April), depending on weather and other factors. Prescribed fire operations and associated smoke may impact your visit. Some camping areas, lodging facilities, trails, and day-use areas may be closed for public safety. Contact the park to learn how this may affect your stay.
