Reservation SiteHebo Lake campground is ideal for those wanting a secluded, quiet camping getaway in the forest. Located on Mt. Hebo, this small, family campground has 12 campsites, a historic picnic shelter, a three-acre lake, and access to hiking trails. Two campsites are reservable on recreation.gov, and the remaining ten sites are available on a first come, first serve basis. The picnic shelter can also be reserved for day-use activities, for groups of up to 25 people. The first come, first serve sites may be available outside the booking window for online reservations; please contact the Hebo Ranger District for open season dates.
At an elevation of 1,650 feet, the surrounding forest of western hemlock, Douglas fir, and red alder make the area quite enjoyable on a hot summer day.
